Another sack back complete

I was distracted by some other tasks for the last week, so I have only just completed the finish on this Salem red sack back arm chair.

After applying a base stain and at least two coats of milk paint, I rub the finish with 0000 steel wool, smoothing the surface and readying it for the oil top coat that seals it all in.

I am now moving to a variety of other commissions, but first will try to get out a wormy maple and ebonized oak perch stool for the Meaford Hall Silent Auction charity fundraiser.
