Walnut Live Edge Stools

Two more walnut live edge stools are about to go to their forever home. In fact, they will be joining two others that just seemed far too lonely on their own. The walnut seat blanks are hand shaped from live edge walnut blanks, selected for their dramatic grain and character. Voids are filled with acrylic epoxy. The seats are shaped and the stools are constructed using traditional North American hand made Windsor chair methods and techniques, the very ones that made hand made Windsor chairs the hallmarks of comfort, beauty, and durability for over 250 years. The legs are made from ebonized ash, harvested here in Ontario and hand turned by myself.
