This solid cherry TV stand is both beautiful and sturdy. Constructed using traditional furniture joinery, including hand cut dovetailed stretchers, solid wood ship lapped backing, and a separate base that allows the various parts’ wood grain to expand and contract with seasonal humidity changes without cracking, this piece is built for longevity – as are all my pieces. This is particularly important as the client uses a wood stove as the primary source of heat. Wood heat typically results in large seasonal humidity swings and corresponding wood expansion and contraction issues. The TV stand design incorporates numerous design elements sourced from the clients’ home. Finished with hand applied varnish over shellac. 38″L x 30″H x 20″D.

A lovely piece of furniture that can be re-purposed as needed
