Bayview Escarpment

Sack back arm chair with comb and carved crest is completed

This chair has been finished with the more common, basic finish of two coats of milk paint, which was rubbed down, oiled, and top coated with wax. Underneath is a coat of stain, which will give the chair a finer patina as the paint slowly wears off the high points from continuous use. This multi-step finishing process imparts a low luster satin sheen. This is great as an office chair, or as an accent piece in a room.
