This hand made Windsor bench is based on the sack back chair but with a shield seat, simplified turnings ad back spindles, and a 42″ high backrest. the Traditional 18th century process used to make all my Windsor chairs are used for this bench. This example is finished with two coats of hand rubbed milk paint sealed with tung oil. The seat is exactly 60″ long. Overall dimensions: 67″L x 42″H x 22″D.
