This live edge ash table is made of two book-matched slabs resting upon a custom built round legged metal base, designed to reflect the leg style of existing pieces in the home (72″L x 40″W x 30″H).
As with all tables that I make, the top has been attached to the base such that the wood can expand and shrink seasonally without cracking.The legs are also incorporated into a robust steel frame, ensuring the the table does not sag, buckle, or twist over time, something that can happen if the legs are simply attached to the slab directly.
