The solid cherry dresser and night stands are finally nearing completion.
With the drawers now constructed and fitted all that remains to be done is to add the drawer fronts and hardware, a final sanding, the finish, and then the copper handles. The drawers are made from maple with 1/2″ maple plywood bottoms and dovetailed corners. I shutter to think what this all weighs in at, but I am sure to get a sense of it when the time comes to load it onto the trailer.
Because I could not locate any veneer core plywood the backs of the nightstands are ship lapped cherry while the dresser will receive veneer core maple plywood..
